The Eel Farm

Directed by Rhys Day of 13co, this film centres a farm that breeds eels encountering bizarre and unexplained events, which serve as an omen of the disastrous consequences of climate change on the planet. The farm functions as a cautionary tale, emphasizing the inexplicable occurrences that will befall the world as it undergoes transformation.

Similarly to the other film I scored for Rhys, this film music is defined by its’ restraint and sparse textures, while exploring the depths of sounds one can create on string instruments through performance and production techniques.
